It’s January AGAIN!
I can’t be bothered to write about resolutions. In fact I purposely didn’t make any this year. I find that the New Year shouldn’t mean a New YOU. You & I are always on a journey to evolve and nurture ourselves forward so why make a big line in the sand of it?
That said it can be useful to make a firm decision that we want to make a change in our life. So today I wanted to give you three ways of up-levelling your income, upgrading your life and feeling confident with money. These are the three core matters that I find people need help with and want to feel that it is OK to want more. (which it totally is btw).
On a side note, I heard the other day about a proposed earnings cap. Well I nearly fell off my seat! What is this saying about money? That to have ” a lot” cannot be a good thing, that you couldn’t possibly make good choices with it, and by one person being paid a larger sum that others are suffering? Who knows what that person does with the money they earn, they could be supporting many other people, being an angel investor, a philanthropist or whatever it is everyone has the right to earn what the market will pay them for their skills. Please do not let restrictive thoughts such as this stop you wanting more – in fact you have a duty to have more so that you can help more people by sharing the wealth you create.
Here are three things you can do right now (and they are just small, super simple, do-able actions….I work in tiny bite size chunks now Little Miss Mindset is on the scene).
- Up-level your income – Let’s get the right mindset. Find a rich person to admire. Find out what they do with their money – do they invest it, help others, employ people, train people, look after themselves and their family well. Feeling good about others with more money with create a feel good factor for you to want to up-level your income step by step
- Upgrading your life – Wheres the red flags? The things that are the nasty niggles inside your head that you have been meaning to do for ages. DO THEM – By the end of the month. You’ll feel so much freer to get on with other things and your life will feel upgraded straight away…( Failing that at the very least get yourself some fleece line tights, I’ve heard them described as soft as snuggling your leg next to a kitten)
- Confidence with money – Great time to do a plan out of your spends for the next few months. Think of any big expenditures coming up and make sure your putting money away in your savings to spend pot.
Wishing you all the best for the start of the year.
